Well here we are. On the brink of 2013. Luke and I are heading down to Ocean Springs this weekend to do an interview with Ellen Gilchrist for the premier issue of China Grove. I’m very excited about this. She is arguably the greatest living author of Mississippi origin. All right I know there are contingents for Richard Ford, John Grisham, Greg Iles, and our current U. S. poet laureate Natasha Tretheway who will argue with me on this but too bad, I’m the guy writing this blog, if you don’t like it we must agree to disagree. Our conversations by phone have been wonderful and I can’t wait to get together with her. I’ve been hooked since I read “Rich” in the early 1980’s. I’ll let you know how it went when we get back.
